Chat-enabled webcasting

This workshop will be delivered using chat-enabled webcasting. You will be able to participate using any broadband-connected computer with a sound card. You will access the course via your web browser and will see a ‘video stream’ where you will view and listen to different presentations. At the same time and on the same screen you will have access to a chat room and can ask questions or comment. At various points in the workshop you will be allocated to a particular chat room with up to 15 others and will be expected to discuss various topics, facilitated by a member of staff from the University of Plymouth. At the end of the workshop we will ask for your feedback by completing an online questionnaire.

You most certainly do not have to be a ‘whizz kid’ at computing to take part in this workshop. As long as you have a reasonably modern, broadband-connected computer with sound you should be able to participate.
